ABOUT DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH

Since its establishment in 1965, the Department of English has been striving for the spread of English language and literature in Man-Khatav vicinity. We are committed to quality language teaching to rural students. The Department has a glorious tradition of results. We have English Language and Literary Association (ELLA) that runs various students- centric activities throughout the year. Word Bank, Weekly News Bulletin, Grammar Consultancy are some of the best practices of the department. The department has MoU with Mandeshi Tarang Vahini (90.4 FM Band). The department runs a Career Oriented Course (COC) in Translation and Communicative Proficiency. Besides, we run short term certificate courses in Spoken English, Personality Development and Anchoring. The Departmental Library provides easy access to the reference books.
