The Department of History has been established in 1994. The Department of History promotes the study of history, society and culture of Maharashtra, India and the entire world. It undertakes teaching, research and extension activities as well as creates awareness among the students about historical places, cultural tourism and religious places etc. The Department runs a Add on course in ‘Study of  Local History ‘ and Historical Tourism.   The Department Organizes activities like posters presentation, wall paper, seminars, Guest lectures, Study tours at historical places etc. The best practice of department is to reminisce of freedom fighters in Palus and kundal .  by broadcasting their contribution in Indian Freedom movement. The History Dept.had Organized an Exbution of  Old Coins and Old Historical Documents .
