The Department of NCC (National Cadet Corps) has started its journey in the college since 1992. It is affiliated to 16 MH BN NCC Sangli, Group Headquarter- Kolhapur and Directorate- Maharashtra. NCC department in college plays a crucial role in developing the character, discipline, and leadership skills of young students. Established under the National Cadet Corps Act of 1948, NCC is a tri-service organization comprising the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings but here is only Army wing. It aims to nurture future leaders by instilling a sense of responsibility, patriotism, and community service in cadets.
The NCC department offers students a structured program that combines military training with academic learning. The program includes activities such as drill practice, rifle shooting, map reading, first aid, and adventure sports.
